Requisitos:
Your role: Responsible for planning and execution of the Global Infrastructure Project Portfolio investment which includes:
- Create and maintain multi-year technical platform investment plans (NextGen, capacity expansion, tech refresh, etc.)
- Maintain 18 months rolling forecast approach (LEAP) for planning infrastructure investments.
- Report forecast to IT PMO on quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with Controlling to ensure Infrastructure projects meet organization’s financial controlling rules and governance. Collaborate on Business Cases, Financial Summaries, Controlling Statements.
- Collaborate with IT-PMO to ensure Infrastructure Portfolio planning process is in-sync with Merck’s IT Portfolio Planning guidelines, stay on top of changes, and collaborate on process improvements.
- Provide project financial consulting to Technical Pillars to ensure projects are opened and approved in a timely manner, following Merck’s Project Management governance, controlling rules, and IT PMO standard processes and tools.
- Ensure project cost is allocated to the correct legal entity / cost center / cost type (global vs local).
- Ensure final vendor quotes are obtained before projects are presented for approval, cost correctly reflected in project cost structure.
- Ensure run costs associated with project investment are identified, fully documented in K2 so they can be reflected in OP.
- Monitor project financial health throughout project lifecycle. Ensure actuals are properly reflected in Merck’s financial reporting. Communicate and manage project financial under- and overrun, to bring project financials back on target.
- Manage financials for multi-year Investments and carry-overs.
Who are you:
- University degree. MBA/Finance preferred.
- Advanced English level.
- Strong financial background. Experience managing infrastructure project investment in a complex multi-sector, multi-ERP, multi-legal entity environment.
- Hands-on experience with Project Portfolio management systems (e.g., PPMC).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- Knowledge of IT Infrastructure platforms terminology, and leading providers, including Network, Telecommunications, Cloud, Datacenter, Server & Storage is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with financial reporting processes and controls.
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to execute.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills. Ability to drive consensus / set mutually agreeable goals.
- Ability to break complex problems into manageable tasks.
