Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Payroll Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of Client’s new payroll system and service model. You will serve as the primary bridge between Client’s internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, IT), local partner and Neeyamo implementation teams. Your mission is to ensure that the implementation is seamless, compliant with Brazilian labor laws (CLT), and delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Act as the single point of contact for the external payroll provider,
ensuring their delivery matches our business requirements and local statutory needs.
Implementation Oversight: Manage the full implementation lifecycle: discovery, data
migration, parallel runs, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and "Go-Live."
Stakeholder Management: Facilitate weekly status meetings with internal leadership and the
provider’s project team to track progress and unblock issues.
Data Migration & Quality: Lead the cleansing and mapping of legacy data into the new
provider’s platform, ensuring 100% accuracy in employee records and year-to-date balances.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate workflows between HRIS and the
new payroll platform to reduce manual intervention.
Risk Mitigation: Maintain a Risk & Issue Log, proactively identifying bottlenecks that could
delay the 10-month timeline.
Planning : Compliance: Support future implementation planning, prepare Wave Plans, and
ensure adherence to project management frameworks
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 7+ years in Payroll implementations &; project management or HR Project
Management, with at least 2 successful large-scale payroll implementations.
Local Expertise: Knowledge of Brazilian Labor Law (CLT) and the eSocial framework is
beneficial.
Language : Fluency in Portuguese and English (required for global reporting).
Technical Savvy : Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and
advanced Excel. Experience/ knowledge on any Ewaider& ;Co suite of products will be an
additional advantage.
Communication: Strong negotiation skills to manage vendor performance and expectations.
