**Your role in helping us shape the future**:
Join a team of technical professionals and utilize your talents to serve as the initial customer contact for marquee full-time managed video services in a 24x7 environment, supporting the resolution of highly complex discrepancies and/or quality of service issues and initiating restoral procedures when necessary. Utilize your skills and expertise to provide critical real-time monitoring and control to marquee customers, including technical direction for service issues, and conduct routine video monitoring and system status checks to provide the highest levels of service quality.
**Are you up to the challenge?**
- Serve as the primary contact for marquee FT clients regarding discrepancies, technical issues, and special events.
- Monitor all established marquee FT managed video services for quality control purposes.
- Use specialized equipment to interpret and troubleshoot highly complex RF, IP, Video and Audio signals.
- Initiate emergency restoral procedures and/or determine alternate routing of services when required.
- Open and manage trouble tickets to ensure that an accurate journal of events is maintained for all issues.
- Review all service documentation to discrepancies and interface with appropriate people and departments to resolve and update.
- Interface and coordinate maintenance activities with internal groups and customers for notices and impact resolution.
- Provide training to junior staff on equipment, services, and operational procedures.
- Ensure that all broadcast and systems are in accordance to FCC regulations.
**You should definitely have**:
- Must have at least three years of directly applicable work experience, with a working knowledge of satellite, fiber and broadcast related equipment as well as audio, video, and digital broadcast service systems.
- Be highly capable of following company guidelines in making independent decisions under stressful conditions in a multi-tasking work environment.
- Must have the ability to read and understand operational manuals for various video broadcast and broadcast test and measurement equipment.
- Consistently display situational awareness and take initiative to address both customer issues as well as departmental inefficiencies
- Ability to cope with high pressure situations required, as well as excellent communication skills, the ability to work comfortably with customers who speak English as a second language and the ability to convey complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Experience with domestic or International uplinking and downlinking of broadcast digital video signal and quality control analysis.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, prioritizing and teamwork skills required.
- Ability to work with a team in a 24x7 rotating shift environment
**It would be nice if you had**:
- Experience operating in a mixed vendor environment for service delivery (Juniper, Everts, Newtec, ECI (XDM), Cisco)
- Comprehensive working knowledge of satellite, and RF related theory and equipment
- Intelsat offered products and services
- Synamedia Conditional Access System (CAS) experience
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent experience required
- RIST, Zixi, SRT experience
- Python or other scripting experience
- Private cloud or Private data center experience
