**Job Description**:

- Knowledge of the services provided by ocean carriers, and capacity availability of the local market;
- Knowledge of all types of vessels, containers and cargo configurations;
- Understand the maritime export/import process and consolidation planning;
- Understand the ocean carriers cargo handling operations;
- Develop relationships with suppliers, gateways and employees of the ports we serve;
- Create and update Customer SOP's;
- Create and update auto-alerts;
- Coordinate ocean shipments through Workflow;
- Audit HBLs and MBLs to avoid inconsistencies;
- Log shipments at Expeditors' internal systems, and scan all related documents in edoc, according to OPS;
- Track shipments from departure and during transit to confirmed arrival at destination, as well as processes driven by DTA;
- Notify the customer of the current status of all shipments until completion of services;
- Update Expeditors' internal systems with the current status of all shipments according to OPS;
- Confirm the NCM of the cargo and the customer's CNPJ, before the shipment is carried out;
- Monitor the availability of the Merchant CE by the ocean carrier;
- Coordinate and confirm timely availability of cargo on arrival and notify customer;
- Primary point of contact for any damaged and partial shipments, and identification of necessary corrective actions;
- Monitor customer activity and relationship, and report any inconsistency to management;
- Support oversight regarding account management and retention;
- Audit each shipment to ensure documents and correspondence have been scanned in accordance with the OPS;
- Post Consolidation Settlements within 1 day of onboard confirmation;
- Prepare cargo release terms for delivery to shipowners;
- Manage customer import paperwork;

- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
- Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word).
- Advanced English.
