Requisitos:
The GSCF Americas Credit Intern reports directly into the GSCF Americas Credit Officer.
The role includes performing full analysis of customers' financial statements and
proposed deal structures, preparing recommendations with adequate terms and conditions for decision makers to facilitate the credit assessment process.
Responsibilities
: The position entails support for credit risk review of GSCF transactions for the assigned markets, existing and potential new obligors in Americas, with the aim of ensuring a balanced approach to credit risk, pursuing GSCF' revenue and profit targets, while also minimizing bad debts. The position requires performing full credit review of the customers and proposed deal structures, preparing recommendations with adequate terms and condition for decision makers. The
responsibilities also include managing the portfolio, actively engaging with Sales and Operations on credit-related items and operating within reasonable turnaround times.
Working in a small team of credit experts, the role is a collaborative one, requiring communication and teaming across the region
and various GSCF functions.
Required skills, education and experience:
• Fluent English and Portuguese, plus fluent or some proficient in Spanish
• Current student in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Proficiency in Office 365 with focus on Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Motivation to succeed and drive results in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Ability to identify and address challenges and think "outside the box" to recommend solutions to support the business within acceptable risk parameters
