We are Seeking a " Data Engineer" to build, optimize, and maintain the modern data platform within a cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work experience on relational l & non-relational databases platform
- Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing, from ingestion to final consumption.
- Construct and manage the data lake infrastructure (multi-cloud), ensuring governance, security, and scalability.
- Administer and optimize various database management systems (DBMS) , including relational and NoSQL databases.
- Implement real-time data stream processing solutions using technologies like Apache Kafka or similar.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, observability, and reliability through testing, monitoring, and pipeline versioning.
- Implement and enforce data security and privacy policies.
- Automate repetitive data engineering and management tasks, applying DevOps and CI/CD principles.
- Proven experience in data engineering, focusing on both batch and streaming pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with modern data platforms and orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Airflow, Databricks).
- Deep knowledge of GCP cloud environments and data-related services.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or managed cloud services.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
