Energy Efficiency Specialist – rio de janeiro
Requisitos:
Develop and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with prospective and existing clients, identifying new business opportunities and managing accounts. Collaborate with business development and operations teams to deliver solutions aligned with clients' sustainability, energy efficiency, and decarbonization needs. Use technology and process improvements to optimize financial performance and drive profitable results. Act as a bridge between business development and operations, ensuring lead generation and client satisfaction throughout the entire project lifecycle. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry analyses to anticipate emerging opportunities and challenges. Participate in industry events and network with clients and suppliers to understand customer needs and the technologies/solutions available in the market. Support the ongoing expansion of the business by identifying growth and innovation opportunities in the LPG and energy management sector. Drive consultative (solution-selling) sales, co-creating customized energy management strategies with clients to ensure solutions meet each client's specific requirements and objectives. Generate leads, convert purchase orders (POs) in a timely manner, and pursue high project quality and profitability when preparing scopes and proposals. Although not explicitly defined in the role, the person is expected to lead the development of professional proposals and participate in tenders, effectively communicating the value proposition. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, or Energy Management. MBA or similar advanced qualifications are a plus. Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in consulting services, with a focus on large-scale projects in the pharmaceutical, food & beverage, or industrial manufacturing sectors. Qualifications / Experience: Languages: Advanced English. Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of energy management, sustainability, energy efficiency, and decarbonization solutions in industrial sectors. Proposal Preparation and Presentation: Experience preparing professional proposals, tenders, and case studies, with the ability to present to executive-level audiences. Availability to Travel: Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and to support national business development efforts. Core Competencies and Skills: Relationship Management: Proven track record in managing and expanding client relationships. Ability to influence decision-makers and build trust at all levels of client organizations. Sales Expertise: Experience in consultative sales within the industrial sector, including the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries. Execution: Strong focus on results and business success. Proposal and Presentation Skills: Experience preparing sales proposals, tenders, and marketing materials. Ability to present complex solutions clearly to non-technical audiences. Problem Solving and Innovation: Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, solve challenges, and develop creative solutions aligned with client needs. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Results Orientation and Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets, with a strong focus on financial and business objectives.
