About The Role
The finance team seeks a professional to support daily financial tasks with professionalism and moderate supervision. The role involves handling complex duties requiring independent judgment, understanding company policies, and maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Responsibilities include providing support in financial and administrative matters.
Responsibilities
- Book journal entries
- Financial reporting
- Support audits (internal and external)
- Meet legal and statutory requirements
- Reconcile and analyze financial data, including reviewing monthly templates, income tax calculations, and ensuring compliance with group policies
- Support LATAM finance and accounting matters
- Review financial statements
- Ensure SOX compliance (including Brazil)
Requirements
- Over 4 years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Experience with direct and indirect taxes for service companies
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Portuguese (business level), English (advanced), both written and spoken
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and learn new software
- Effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Proactive, responsible, adaptable, and organized
Preferred Qualifications
- Energetic team player with good interpersonal skills
- SAP experience
- Problem-solving skills
- Languages: Portuguese (native), English (proficient), Spanish (a plus)
