ESOM:
“ENGIE Operation and Maintenance Services is responsible for operating and maintaining the gas pipelines of TAG, a company acquired by the group in 2020. With the acquisition of TAG, ENGIE owns the most extensive natural gas transportation network in the country with 4,500 km that cross 10 states and 191 municipalities.”
MISSION:
Provide support to project activities within GBU Networks Americas, in addition to assisting with technical issues, environmental/technical, FEM (transfer sheet and assumptions), SMS, front-end management, O&M assumptions, EPC(M), LTSA , etc. in carrying out prospecting, evaluations, developments or acquisitions.
It is also responsible for managing relationships with consultants, contractors, suppliers and Engie Global (IPOS, COPs, etc.), and with operational assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical leadership for GBU Networks Americas businesses, including natural gas distribution and transportation, LNG terminals, storage, biogas, green gas transportation (pure and blended H2, CO2, etc.), other new technologies, and power transmission as needed in the business development and implementation phases;
- Coordinate design, engineering, contract and construction management support for new assets and due diligence of existing assets;
- Support in requesting and contracting the supply of important equipment, engineering, long-term service contracts and construction services;
- Provide inputs and collaborate with AIFA on commercial (technical) premises such as FEM inputs and transfer sheet.
- Act as contact with the main OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and create OEM synergies by collaborating with entities in the American region and others in the Group;
- Support project and construction management teams to deliver capital projects on time and budget;
- Oversee the reporting process to external stakeholders on projects, as contractually required;
- Establish, implement and support the development and implementation phases of projects in the Networks GBU Americas region, in line with Group policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed higher education and/or MBA in Engineering;
- Fluent Spanish;
- Fluent English will be an advantage;
- Experience in managing large and complex organizations, working in multicultural work environments, negotiating contracts and establishing partnerships with multi-tiered project management structures;
- Experience with implementation and management of energy projects, operations and maintenance, contract and construction management, risk analysis and mitigation in project implementation;
- Knowledge and experience in the development, construction and operation of gas infrastructures and energy transmission systems;
- Availability to travel.
