School of the Nations is a private, not-for-profit, coeducational, bilingual (English & Portuguese) international day school located in Brasília, DF. We offer an educational program from Nursery through Grade 12 and are accredited internationally by NEASC and nationally by the Secretary of Education of the Federal District. With students and staff from 30 nations and diverse backgrounds, we foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes global citizenship and values diversity. Math Teacher (Temporary) Section: High School Application deadline: July 7, 2024 Start date: July 18, 2024 Main responsibilities: Plan, implement and develop Mathematics instruction for students aged 14-18. This includes fostering a deep understanding of the content area, ensuring students grasp complex mathematical concepts. Prepare students for college-level exams and standardized tests. The role involves creating a stimulating and inclusive environment, encouraging critical thinking, and promoting the academic and social development of each student, in line with the school's policies, curriculum, and philosophy. Requirements: Mathematics License Degree. Bilingual in Portuguese and English. A minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a bilingual/international setting. Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms.
