Skill Set:

• 3-5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot development
• Proven SQL or PostgreSQL experience - understands how integration gets inbound data/publishes data
• Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (GCP or equivalent)
• Hands-on experience with Kafka
• Proficiency in testing frameworks, including:
  Unit testing, Contract testing, API component testing (Cucumber-type frameworks)

Plusses:

• Experience with GCP PubSub
• Retail industry experience

Key Responsibilities:

A large retailer headquartered in the US is seeking an Integration Engineer to join their team remotely. A qualified individual will have experience with software integration using Java/Sprint Boot as well as database interactions with SQL/PostgreSQL in the cloud.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust software integrations using Java and Spring Boot
• Implement and optimize database interactions with SQL/PostgreSQL
• Develop and manage event-driven architectures using Kafka or GCP PubSub
• Create and maintain comprehensive test suites, including unit tests, contract tests, API component tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Architect and implement cloud-based integration solutions in GCP or equivalent cloud environments

Compensation:

$18/hr to $25/hr USD.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
