In this role, you'll spearhead efforts to prospect, close new business, and expand wallet share with existing customers. Your leadership will be pivotal in developing, implementing, and executing a high-impact sales plan designed to exceed your goals.
You'll work closely with both National and Regional Sales teams to foster a cohesive environment and leverage Salesforce as the primary tool for tracking success. Building a diverse network of industry influencers, community partners, and prospective clients will be a key part of your strategy. You'll also play a crucial role in recruiting, hiring, and developing top talent, while ensuring customer commitments are met through active partnership with operations. Additionally, you'll support the RFP team to drive successful outcomes and invest in your own professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of building and maintaining a book of business
- Minimum of 5 years of solution-based selling experience
- Minimum of 4 years experience managing a sales team or similar internal leadership experience
- History of building and leading a team of sales professionals
- Proven track record of initiating and successfully driving new business partnerships
- Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals
- Responsible for coaching, feedback and development plans including departmental cross training
- Responsible for performance/pay reviews and identifying key performers and underperformers
The salary for this role is between $140,000 and $160,000 . Specific compensation will be based on the skills, experience, seniority, merit, location, education, training, and need for travel of the selected candidate.
