Description

FIFA27 will be established as the Local FIFA Subsidiary in Brazil, working alongside FIFA HQ in Zurich and globally, to deliver the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 (“FWWC2027”).

The Position

The Senior Partnership Development Manager will drive sponsorship sales and strategic partnerships for FWWC2027, focusing on the Brazilian and LATAM markets. Deep market knowledge and a strong regional network are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Partnership Sales and the broader commercial team to meet sponsorship goals for FWWC2027, emphasizing the Brazilian and LATAM markets.
  • Identify and pursue high-value sponsorship leads aligned with the tournament’s commercial strategy.
  • Source, qualify, and engage potential sponsors; secure meetings and present tailored proposals.
  • Develop bespoke sponsorship packages addressing prospective partners’ needs.
  • Lead negotiations to secure sponsorships, ensuring compliance with FIFA’s guidelines.
  • Work with the Strategy and Planning team to identify market opportunities and develop sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key sponsors.
  • Act as a key contact for sales-related matters within the FIFA27 team in Brazil.
  • Stay informed on sponsorship categories, industry trends, and market benchmarks.
  • Enhance FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027’s visibility and generate inbound interest.
  • Organize commercial events and conferences to foster business relationships and sales pipelines.

Your Profile

  • Professional, articulate, results-driven.
  • Excellent presenter and relationship builder.
  • Experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or commercial partnerships, preferably in sports or entertainment.
  • Strong network and understanding of the Brazilian and LATAM markets.
  • Experience negotiating across cultures.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Solutions-oriented, organized, client-focused.
  • Discreet with confidential information.
  • Team player with attention to detail.
  • Passion for women’s sports and international events.
  • Degree in business, sports marketing, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, MS Teams, and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel and relocate to Rio de Janeiro.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.
