Benthic is looking to add a highly diligent and meticulous Personnel Operations Analyst to the team. The Personnel Operations Analyst is responsible for travel, personnel logistics and crew change planning. This position will also provide administration support to the local Operations Team.
The successful candidate will be based in the Rio de Janeiro area.

Duties
•Responsible for all data inputs into personnel, training, and competency registers, ensuring that personnel are in possession of the necessary current certification required for their discipline/position and updated certificates are uploaded to the Geo-Services BMS (Benthic, UTEC and TerraSond)
•Assist in the coordination of new hire inductions, act as support function for both QHSE and HR orientation and inductions for all new Operations employees
•Act as a support function for Project based Visas, providing required documentation to HR as and when required, keeping relevant parties updated as to progress and raising any concerns as and when they arise
•Identify and recommend procedural improvements
•Provide administrative support to local Operations Team related to crew coordination
•Support the project manager and other departments with the offshore and onshore personnel logistics
•Support the project manager with labor documentation as contract requirement as well as post it into clients’ platform
•Check the control of periodic medical exams of employees in Brazil and schedule them to be carried out on time, in accordance with local legislation
•Verify timesheets, eventual discounts, control readjustments and request the effective payments. Check payment to service providers controlled by the area (periodical medical exams and others)
•Control and inform the HR Department about any event that may have an impact on the company payroll
•Performs other activities related to the position, at the discretion of its manager
•Assist the HR manager in Brazil in the organization and filing of all labor documentation, in compliance with local legislation, as well as the personal data protection law
•Responsible for keeping a record of all crew changes and associated logistics and documentation
Required
•Complete graduation (Accounting, Business Administration, Law, etc.) or relevant experience in the role
•Fluent in English
•Minimum 4 years work experience
•Prior experience with personnel logistics
•Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
•Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
•Client service oriented, with a knowledge of customer service principles and practices
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to liaise with employees and business representatives at all levels
•Strong interpersonal skills (including cross-cultural sensitivity, tact and diplomacy)
•Relationship building and management skills
•Excellent organization skills and the ability to work proactively and independently (as well as a member of a team)
•High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
•Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
•Flexibility and adaptability, i.e., demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, changing and team-based environment
