We are looking for a Senior SAP IS-U/CCS Billing & Invoicing Consultant to join projects and AMS (Application Management Services) support engagements within the electric utilities/energy sector. This role focuses on billing processes, calculations, invoice generation, system enhancements, and functional/technical support. The ideal candidate brings solid, hands‑on experience in SAP IS-U/CCS, particularly in Billing & Invoicing, and is capable of working autonomously across demand analysis, configuration, functional specification, technical support, ABAP debugging, testing, incident resolution, and enhancement delivery. This is a senior, hands‑on position for someone who can hit the ground running, with both a functional and technical understanding of SAP processes tailored to energy providers and utility companies. Employment for this position will be established and managed by Neoris in Brazil, in compliance with Brazilian labor laws. While you will be working on EPAM projects, your employment contract and related matters will be directly handled by Neoris. Responsibilities Act as a senior consultant in SAP IS-U CCS Billing & Invoicing Analyze, configure, and maintain billing processes within SAP IS-U Support AMS activities, including evolutionary and corrective enhancements, as well as projects related to the utilities commercial cycle Specify, configure, and oversee enhancements within the SAP IS-U environment Provide technical support for ABAP developments, adjustments, and corrections when needed Perform functional and technical analysis of incidents, billing errors, inconsistencies, and integration failures Support individual and mass billing, rebilling, cancellation, reversal, and invoice simulation processes Analyze billing rules, calculation schemas, tariffs, taxes, charges, subsidies, and regulatory components Prepare functional specifications for ABAP developments, interfaces, reports, forms, and enhancements Perform ABAP debugging to identify the root cause of functional issues Configure and support processes related to Billing, Invoicing, Meter Reading, Device Management, Contract Accounts, mass billing, document reprocessing, and invoice printing and generation Collaborate with business teams, technical teams, ABAP developers, integration teams, and other SAP modules Participate in unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) with key users, and production monitoring Support critical closing routines, billing cycles, and exception handling Contribute to functional, technical, and operational documentation of implemented solutions Requirements 3+ years of experience as an SAP IS-U CCS Consultant, focused on Billing & Invoicing Prior experience in the electric utilities, energy, or utility provider sector Solid knowledge of utilities commercial processes, including meter reading, metering, consumption calculation, billing, and invoice issuance Experience in SAP AMS/support environments, handling incidents, enhancements, corrections, and evolutionary demands Proficiency in SAP IS-U configuration/customizing related to billing Ability to analyze and resolve complex billing issues in production environments Experience writing functional specifications for ABAP developments Working knowledge of SAP ABAP for debugging, technical analysis, and error correction support Ability to translate business rules into effective SAP solutions Experience with functional testing, integration testing, and validation of fixes in production Strong understanding of core SAP IS-U CCS objects and processes An autonomous, analytical profile, comfortable working directly with key users and technical teams Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher Nice to have Hands‑on experience analyzing logs, dumps, jobs, processing errors, and inconsistencies Familiarity with integrations across meter reading, metering, collections, receivables, and accounting (including SAP FI-CA) Experience with long‑term projects or contracts involving support, enhancement, and evolution of SAP IS-U processes A proven track record combining functional and technical activities, such as configuration, specification, ABAP analysis, and enhancement support We offer Health & Dental Plans : Co‑participative coverage for employees and eligible dependents Life Insurance & Private Pension : Financial protection and long‑term retirement investment Wellness Programs : Access to Gympass/WellHub, SESC leisure, education, health, and cultural services, and 24/7 Dr. Aon telehealth Language Courses : English and Spanish classes fully funded for employees with 75%+ attendance University Partnerships : Discounts on courses from FGV, Conquer, IBMEC, Dom Cabral, and FIAP Transportation & Meal Benefits : Transportation vouchers, chartered transport assistance, and meal/food vouchers Family Support : Daycare reimbursement and financial aid for children with special needs Profit Sharing (PLR) : Variable payment based on company profits Union & Legal Support : Guidance on SINDPD Union Contributions and opt‑out options EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
