What will you be doing?
Job Title: Engenheiro SR - Structural Analysis
Mission of the Role: Develop solutions for underwater equipment design, mooring line systems (rigid and flexible), transportation/sea fastening structures, and offshore operation support structures, focusing on the user and the values of Subsea7 (safety, integrity, sustainability, performance, innovation, and collaboration).
Identify and understand project needs accurately. Execute activities within deadlines, providing solutions to enable construction and design of structures. Interface and align with internal and external stakeholders. Manage small service packages.
What experience would we like you to have?
Responsibilities:
- Perform activities independently within the project or process, ensuring quality and safety, and contribute to meeting deadlines. Guide and monitor a team of engineers to deliver specific scopes.
- Develop and be responsible for technical products (such as specifications, calculation memos, equipment lists) and participate in service specifications, including technical support, project calculations, procedures, reports, and evaluations.
- Create technical documentation and sign it as author/reviewer. Review and approve documentation from other engineers and suppliers. Produce MDR/SDR documents. Ensure timely issuance and revision of documents.
- Be responsible for field activities (onshore or offshore), such as mobilizations, demobilizations, equipment tests, etc. Supervise junior professionals.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, resolve complex design issues, and approve solutions.
- Interact with third-party vendors, oversee their services.
- Represent Subsea7 in client and third-party meetings discussing technical topics.
- Follow engineering processes as per the document management system and ensure junior engineers adhere to them.
- Present documents and processes during audits.
- Access the Community of Experts (COE) when needed and guide juniors on its use.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
Education:
- Engineering degree (naval, mechanical, civil, or related).
Necessary Knowledge:
- Advanced/Fluent English.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, Ansys, Staad Pro.
