Subsea Pipeline Engineer – Rio de Janeiro

We are seeking a highly skilled Subsea Pipeline Engineer with expertise in dynamic analysis using OrcaFlex. The ideal candidate will focus on the design and analysis of subsea pipelines and risers, including both rigid and flexible systems. This role requires a strong understanding of pipeline engineering principles and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct dynamic analyses of subsea pipelines and risers using OrcaFlex to evaluate performance under various environmental conditions.
• Design and optimize rigid and flexible risers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with design teams to integrate pipeline systems into overall subsea infrastructure projects.
• Perform load analysis, including environmental and operational loads, and assess their impact on pipeline and riser integrity.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations of analysis results for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in subsea engineering technology and methodologies, incorporating best practices into project work.
• Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies related to subsea pipeline design and operations.
• Participate in project planning and scheduling, ensuring timely completion of analysis tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Subsea Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in subsea pipeline and riser design, with a focus on dynamic analysis.
• Proficiency in OrcaFlex or similar dynamic analysis software.
• Strong knowledge of subsea engineering principles, including fluid mechanics, structural analysis, and material properties.
