Teaching Assistant para Rio de Janeiro

This position is for a professional who is passionate about education and student success, with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, able to inspire trust and work collaboratively. The ideal candidate demonstrates integrity, professionalism, discretion, and strong organisational skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide curriculum subject support.
• Assist in the planning of classroom activities.
• Assist in implementing classroom activities and maintaining classroom displays.
• Assist with school administration and preparation / ordering of teaching resources.
• Support behaviour management in line with school policies

Key requirements:

• Relevant Brazilian teaching qualification (Normal or Licenciatura) or International teaching qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education (Pedagogia).
• A degree in Special Education, Neuropsychology, and Psychopedagogy is desirable.
• Fluency at C1 level in English, supported by a recognised qualification.
• Experience working in a school setting with upper primary students.
• Understanding of pedagogical strategies.
