About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Recruiter with deep expertise in the Brazilian Oil & Gas market. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, focusing on high-level Engineering roles and specialized Offshore positions. The ideal candidate understands the complexity of offshore operations and has a strong network of certified professionals ready for deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for offshore technical crews, subsea engineers, project managers, and specialized technicians.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Proactively headhunt talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, industry databases, and networking within the Brazilian O&G hubs (Rio de Janeiro, Macaé, Santos).
  • Technical Vetting: Conduct initial screenings to verify mandatory offshore certifications (e.g., CBSP, HUET, NR-13, NR-33, NR-35 ) and specialized engineering credentials (CREA).
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with Hiring Managers and Operations Leads to define job requirements and provide market intelligence on salary benchmarks.
  • Compliance: Ensure all hiring processes align with Brazilian labor laws (CLT) and specific maritime/offshore regulations.
  • Pipeline Building: Maintain a robust "bench" of candidates for rapid mobilization on upcoming offshore projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2 years in recruitment, with at least 3 years focused exclusively on the Oil & Gas / Offshore sector in Brazil.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with offshore roles (ROV Pilots, Drillers, Rig Managers, Subsea Engineers, HSE Officers).
  • Certification Expertise: Solid understanding of mandatory training requirements for boarding (OPITO standards, Brazilian NRs).
  • Languages: Fluent Portuguese and Advanced/Fluent English (mandatory for reporting and global coordination).
  • Tools: Proficiency with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and advanced LinkedIn Sourcing.

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle tight mobilization deadlines.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Organization to manage high-volume technical roles.
