Job Duties
- Gain and utilize expertise in specific aspects of a PSL's technology and services portfolio to educate customers, operations, and business development (BD) on features, advantages, and benefits of the PSL solution offerings.
- Under broad direction, the Technical Sales Advisor is accountable for delivery execution, pursuing excellence in daily activities, and identifying customer technical needs through product knowledge and geographic understanding of challenges.
- Assist the BD organization in pursuing work via customer interactions and workshops, provide technical recommendations for proposals, and aid in diagnosing and communicating solution delivery issues.
- Help establish strategic direction by understanding local customer business drivers and technical challenges, and identify up-sell strategies within the geographic area.
- Maintain awareness of the external market and company marketing strategies, collaborating with PSL, region/country teams, and other stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide input on technology project priorities based on market understanding, customer needs, and technology gaps.
- Execute tactical plans set by country management, ensuring all operations comply with HSE and OE policies and best practices.
- Utilize project management skills and tools to organize and execute project assignments.
- Provide guidance to less experienced staff and contribute to the viability and service quality of revenue centers.
- Possess a thorough understanding of supported sub-PSL technology and broad knowledge of development tools.
- Promote PSL quality directives and ensure consistent operational practices.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 7 years of experience in the energy services industry, including 5 years as a field professional.
