Role Description The Trainee de Trading will support the trading team in day-to-day operations, including monitoring natural gas markets, analyzing price trends, and assisting in the execution and follow-up of trading strategies and contracts. This full-time, on-site role based in Rio de Janeiro, RJ involves collecting and organizing market data, preparing reports and presentations, and helping evaluate commercial opportunities and risks. The trainee will collaborate with senior traders and other internal areas to ensure accurate documentation, compliance with regulatory requirements, and efficient communication with counterparties. The role also includes learning trading systems and tools, supporting internal process improvements, and contributing to projects that enhance Saturno Gás's commercial performance. Qualifications Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret market data and financial information. Interest in energy markets, particularly natural gas, and willingness to learn trading concepts and regulatory frameworks. Proficiency with Excel and other data analysis tools; familiarity with PowerPoint or similar software for reporting. Clear written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese; reading and writing in English is highly beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Ongoing or completed bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Availability to work on-site in Rio de Janeiro, RJ, on a full-time basis. Previous internship or academic projects in energy, commodities, finance, or consulting are a plus but not mandatory.
