About the Sales Associate position

The Sales Associate’s responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answering their questions about our products, and recommending the right solutions. You should also be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales Associate, you should stay up-to-date with product features and maintain our store’s visual appearance to high standards.

Ultimately, the duties of a Sales Associate are to achieve excellent customer service while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.

Sales Associate responsibilities are:

1. Providing excellent customer/sales service
2. Providing customers with required information
3. Greeting customers politely
4. Working hard to drive in sales
5. Seeking out prospective customers
6. Being knowledgeable about the products/services
7. Able to handle returns of merchandise
8. Communicating with team members
9. Suggesting ideas on how to improve sales

Sales Associate requirements are:

1. Experience as a Sales Associate or in a related area
2. Good understanding of sales and customer service
3. Able to communicate well with customers
4. Good at math
5. Experience with POS transactions
6. Flexible with working hours
7. Customer-friendly
8. High school diploma/BA/BSc would be a plus
