**Job Description**:
We are looking for a** Research Analyst** to join Wood Mackenzie’s Power and Renewables team in **Latin America**.** The Power and Renewables research team is a highly respected group of analysts producing market-leading research on the entire renewable energy value chain.
Our cutting-edge knowledge of wind power supply chains, costs, deployments, and investment trends further strengthens Wood Mackenzie's offerings in the market during this rapidly changing time in the energy sector.
The Analyst is responsible for analysis of the Latin American wind power market, which includes the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. As the regional thought leader, he/she will be the internal and external point of contact for wind power in Latin America. Key responsibilities of the role will include writing reports, aggregating and summarizing project-level datasets, communicating with key industry stakeholders, tracking Latin America wind market activity and forecasting installation volumes and pricing trends. The Analyst will work closely with the Latin American research analyst and his/her line manager, to ensure the timely and accurate provision of all relevant data.
The Analyst is expected to conduct original quantitative and qualitative research on the market and deliver analysis through written reports, public speaking, addressing customer inquiries and custom research engagements and/or consulting projects. He/ she is also expected to correspond with, present to, and advise if necessary main stakeholders within the Latin American wind industry on analysis regarding the wind power landscape and general mar
